Marija Bojović

Founding Partner

Overview

Marija Bojović is the founding partner of Bojović Attorneys at Law in Belgrade. She advises domestic and international clients on complex commercial and transactional matters across Serbia and Montenegro, with a particular focus on corporate and M&A, banking and finance, energy projects, and international commercial arbitration.

Marija has over two decades of experience advising multinational companies, financial institutions, and investors on transactions and disputes across the region. Before establishing Bojović Attorneys at Law, she built and led the associated legal practice of PwC Serbia and subsequently served as a partner at leading regional law firms.

Her work covers asset acquisitions, corporate restructurings, project development, and high-value commercial disputes. She is regularly engaged for complex transactions and regulatory matters involving Serbia and Montenegro, and is a trusted adviser to clients who require clear, experienced guidance on the most demanding legal and commercial issues in both markets.

Beyond her transactional practice, Marija has been involved in establishing regional law firm networks and foreign chambers of commerce in Serbia, experience that reflects both her standing in the regional business community and her understanding of the institutional frameworks within which international businesses operate. For clients entering or expanding across the Western Balkans, this network and institutional knowledge provides practical value that goes beyond legal advice alone.

Marija is consistently recognised by leading international legal directories. Chambers and Partners ranks her in Corporate/Commercial, and IFLR1000 names her as Highly Regarded in Banking and M&A. She holds a law degree from the University of Belgrade and an LL.M. from Central European University.
